BreakthroughBox is a modern, accessible coaching and therapy platform. We’re looking to hire a freelance full-stack developer (or small team) to create our MVP site from scratch. You’ll build a responsive website, simple backend, and integrate core features including payment, booking, and AI chat (via OpenAI’s ChatGPT API).

1. User Authentication
• Sign-up / login (email, Google)
• Separate roles for clients and therapists
2. Client Portal
• Browse or get matched with therapists
• Book sessions with therapist calendar
• Track session history and payments
• Access AI chat (30 min/week free tier; pay-to-extend)
• Upgrade to paid plans
3. Therapist Portal
• Create/edit profile (bio, specialties, rates, availability)
• Booking management
• View client sessions (no client contact outside platform)
• Earnings dashboard
• Secure notes field
Client feedback
4. AI Chat Interface
• Embedded chat interface using OpenAI’s ChatGPT API
• 30-minute/week limit for free users
• Session time tracking and unlock option ($25 per block or monthly subscription $85, $125, $165)
• Prompted upsells to human therapy
5. Payments & Subscriptions
• Stripe and PayPal integration
• Take platform commission per therapy session paid for (10% for 6 months, 15% after)
• Monthly membership for therapists (after free trial)
Monthly membership for clients on a tiered basis. Clients also have to pay per session the therapists fee.
• Pay-per-use AI chat for clients or upgrade to unlimited
6. Admin Panel
• Add/remove users
• Monitor sessions
• Assign clients to new therapists if one leaves
• Manage platform commissions and payments
• Export earnings and user data
7. SEO & Front-End Pages
• SEO-optimized landing pages for therapists and clients
• Homepage with CTA to “Find Help Now” or “Become a Therapist”
• Blog section or placeholder
• Testimonials section (initially populated with dummy data)
8. Dummy Launch Content
• Preload site with 2–3 fake therapist profiles
• Include 1–2 mock client reviews/testimonials
• Dummy blog post or case study
