I run https://londonecohouse.com on WordPress + WooCommerce and need a developer to build a lean, secure plugin that adds payment-gateway capability without depending on heavy third-party extensions. The goal is simple: give customers a seamless, fast checkout while keeping the codebase clean and fully aligned with WooCommerce standards.
What I’m after
• A standalone plugin that integrates a modern payment gateway (I’m open to PayPal, Stripe, Square or the API you know best).
• Full support for authorisation, capture, refunds, webhooks and tokenised cards.
• Clear, self-explanatory settings inside WooCommerce → Payments so I can drop in API keys myself.
• Inline documentation plus a concise read-me for future maintenance by my in-house team.
Acceptance criteria
– Plugin installs and activates with zero warnings.
– Sandbox and live transactions both succeed.
– Added server response time remains under 300 ms.
– Code passes WordPress / WooCommerce PHPCS rules.
Timeline
