Carrd Donation Payment Integration
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I run my athletic sponsorship site on Carrd (stephdonston.com) and I’m ready to accept online donations directly on the page. I need a developer who can hook up a secure payment gateway—Stripe or GoDaddy, whichever keeps fees lowest for donors—and build a seamless flow for both one-time and monthly recurring gifts.
Here’s what the finished flow should do:
• Display a clean dropdown containing the preset amounts $10, 20, 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250, 500, 750, 1,000, 1,250, 1,500, 2,000, 2,500, plus an “Other” option that opens a custom amount field.
• Collect donor email and billing address during checkout.
• Process payments securely through the chosen gateway and return donors to a confirmation screen on stephdonston.com.
• Trigger an automated thank-you email, a formal receipt, and for subscriptions, a confirmation of recurring payment.
• Let me view, export, and reconcile all transactions easily inside the gateway dashboard.
I’ve already built the Carrd layout; you’ll be adding the payment button(s) and configuring the backend. If custom code is required, please keep it lightweight and well-commented so I can maintain it.
Acceptance will be based on:
– Successful live test of one-time and monthly donations using real cards at minimal fee structure
– Correct firing of all three donor emails
– Accurate recording of donor details in the payment portal
– Smooth, responsive experience on mobile and desktop
