Amazon Pay Multi-Currency Fix
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My WooCommerce store already runs the FOX – Multi Currency for WooCommerce plugin, yet the Amazon Pay settings refuse to expose their “Multi-Currency” option. I need someone who has wrestled with this specific handshake before and can make Amazon Pay recognise and process the currencies offered by the switcher.
Context
• Current stack: WordPress, WooCommerce, Amazon Pay gateway, FOX (WOOCS) Multi-Currency.
• Other switcher tested: WPML Multicurrency, with the same missing-option result.
• Target currencies at checkout: USD, EUR, GBP.
• No core code edits have been made to either plugin so you’ll start with clean versions.
What I need you to do
Investigate why Amazon Pay is not detecting the active currency switcher, apply the required hooks/filters or lightweight custom snippets, and give me a repeatable way to keep it working through future updates. You should be comfortable moving between sandbox and live modes, reading gateway debug logs, and confirming that orders settle in the correct currency from cart through to Amazon’s settlement report.
Deliverable (acceptance criteria)
– “Multi-Currency” toggle appears and remains enabled inside Amazon Pay settings.
– Checkout, confirmation e-mails and WooCommerce order records reflect the shopper’s chosen USD, EUR or GBP amount.
– Test transactions in both sandbox and live environments show correct capture/settlement.
– Clear notes (or very small plugin) documenting any code added so I can maintain it.
If you’ve solved a similar FOX / WPML / Aelia clash with Amazon Pay before, let me know—speed matters here.
