Add PayPal to WooCommerce in WordPress Website

My WordPress site sells professional services and I already run payments through a PayPal Business account—now I just need the checkout flow connected for straightforward, one-time purchases.

Here’s what has to happen:

• A visitor clicks “Buy”, is taken to PayPal, pays, and is returned to a confirmation page on my domain.
• The order details and PayPal transaction ID must be recorded in my WordPress back-end so I can track each sale.
• Styling should match the current site and the process needs to work smoothly on desktop and mobile.

If a lightweight plugin such as PayPal Checkout, PayPal Payments, or a custom API snippet is best, I’m open; the priority is a clean, reliable integration that stays PCI-compliant and doesn’t bloat the site. Once complete, I’ll test with my sandbox credentials and then switch to live mode.

Deliverable is the fully functional payment workflow plus a brief note outlining what was configured so I can maintain it going forward.
