Need Merchant Processor

I am in need choosing the correct/best merchant processor to help with my business. I need to be able to accept payments both online and in-person, so I require a processor that can handle both and offer the hardware. I do not have any specific processor in mind, so any recommendations would be helpful. Additionally, the processor needs to be able to handle payments made with US Dollars only. Lastly, and very importantly, the business I am in is accepting money for Skill Based Competitions for large cash prizes. It’s not classified as gambling or lottery as it’s skill based but some processors allow it and others do not. I don’t just want to go straight to a high risk processor because then the fees are higher. I signed up with Stripe but it appears they do not allow it. Looks like paypal does but but needs pre-authorization and I’m concerned about their history of suspending accounts for no reason. My business is Golfers pay $7 to $30 to get a chance at hitting a hole in on. If they are successful the win up to $20,000. Skill based not gambling and so it’s legal in my state.
