Tailored Formal Shorts Design
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m developing a smart, above-the-knee short that can hold its own in business-casual settings and evening events alike. The goal is a polished silhouette—think the crispness of tailored trousers translated into a comfortable warm-weather piece.
Here’s what I need from you:
• A complete design concept, including flat sketches and a clean technical drawing suitable for factory use
• A pattern and graded size spec so production can start immediately
• A concise tech pack with fabric weight, stitch type, and trim details
Fabric is still open. I’d like your professional guidance on cotton twill, linen blends, fine polyester, or any other suiting material you feel will drape well and press sharply. Likewise, details such as pleats, cuffs, or additional pockets are on the table; I’m interested in hearing which of these, if any, would elevate the overall look without complicating mass production.
If you have a sample-making capability, let me know—seeing (and fitting) a prototype will help lock final measurements before the factory run. CAD skills in Illustrator or CLO 3D are a plus, but accuracy and industry-standard formatting of the tech pack are paramount.
Once approved, deliver the editable files (AI or DXF for the pattern, PDF for the tech pack) along with high-resolution renders or photos of any prototypes.
