Pattern Maker for Premium Men's Clothing
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m developing a premium men’s clothing brand called ALFA, focused on a clean, masculine Old Money / Quiet Luxury aesthetic.
I already have the Tech Pack, size chart, fabric specifications and detailed fit instructions for both a men’s Polo and T-shirt.
I’m now looking for an experienced garment pattern maker who can turn these specifications into professional, production-ready patterns.
The fit is extremely important to me. I want the garments to look masculine, refined and premium when actually worn — slightly fitted and comfortable, structured shoulders, clean chest, subtle waist shaping, slightly shorter proportions, and sleeves finishing around the upper/mid bicep without being tight.
The Polo and T-shirt should have different patterns appropriate to their fabrics and construction, rather than simply using the same basic block.
Before hiring, I need to see examples of your previous men’s Polo/T-shirt patterns and finished garments made from your patterns. I want someone who can show me that they understand the fit and can achieve the exact type of silhouette I’m looking for.
I would also like to see visual references/mockups or a clear preview of how you expect the final garment to look and fit before we finalize the pattern, so we can make sure we are aligned.
I need the final patterns to be suitable for manufacturing, including the appropriate pattern pieces, grading and professional production files.
Current budget: $30 for both garments. I understand this is a limited budget, so please only apply if you are comfortable working within it. If the first project goes well, I’m interested in building a long-term relationship for future ALFA products, samples and factory development.
Please send:
Examples of men’s Polo/T-shirt patterns you have made
Photos of finished garments made from your patterns
Your experience with premium/Old Money-style menswear
What files you will provide
After the pattern is completed, I will also need a physical sample/prototype made from the specified fabric so I can see the actual fit, proportions, sleeve length, body length, shoulder shape and overall appearance on a real person before moving to production.
If you can also provide or coordinate the sample making, please mention this in your proposal. The pattern-making budget is $30 for both garments, while the physical sample/fabric/manufacturing cost can be discussed separately.
Thank you.
