High-Tech Jacket Prototype Design (NDA)

PROJECT TITLE: Technical Designer Needed for "Stealth Mode" High-Performance Outerwear Prototype (NDA Required)
PROJECT OVERVIEW: We are a confidential startup developing a new line of engineered technical outerwear. We are moving from the concept phase to R&D and require an experienced Technical Designer to create Production-Ready CAD Patterns and a comprehensive Tech Pack for our flagship jacket.
Note: Due to the proprietary nature of our materials and construction methods, the selected freelancer will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before receiving the design sketches.
SCOPE OF WORK:
1. Pattern Making (CAD)
Item: Men’s Technical Jacket (Size M base).
Fit Profile: Athletic/Cyberpunk silhouette (structured fit).
Key Construction Requirements:
Articulated Sleeves: Two-piece curved sleeve design to allow full range of motion without material bunching or stress.
Raglan Shoulders: Engineered to minimize seam tension and improve durability.
Zero-Waste Nesting: Patterns must be optimized for CNC cutting to ensure minimal fabric wastage.
2. Tech Pack Creation
Create a detailed PDF instruction manual for our manufacturing unit, including:
Technical Sketches: Front, Back, Side, and Detail views.
Measurements: Base size specs with graded tolerance.
Construction Callouts: Specific instructions for "Walking Foot" sewing (Heavy Duty) and seam taping.
Bill of Materials (BOM): Placeholder structure for hardware and fabrics.
MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS (CRITICAL):
The pattern must be designed for a Heavy-Gauge, Non-Stretch Composite Material (approx. 1.5mm thickness).
Designer Note: Treat the material behavior similar to stiff Cordura or rigid high-grade Rexine/Leather. It does not drape like woven cotton.
DELIVERABLES:
Source Files: CLO3D (.zprj) or Marvelous Designer project files.
Production Files: .DXF / .AAMA format (Compatible with JWEI/Ruizhou industrial cutters).
Documentation: Final Tech Pack in PDF format.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience with Technical Outerwear, Motorcycle Gear, or Heavy Leather goods.
Proficiency in CLO3D or equivalent CAD software.
Understanding of industrial CNC nesting.
BUDGET & TIMELINE:
Timeline: Immediate start. Deliverables expected within 7-10 days.
Budget: Open to proposals based on expertise.
