Casual designer Wear Fashion Designer Needed
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I’m getting ready to launch a fresh designer & casual-wear label and need an experienced fashion designer to guide the creative development from concept through sample-ready patterns. The brand vibe is relaxed, modern and quality-driven, so I want every garment to feel effortless yet refined.
Here’s what I’d like you to handle:
• Design sketches – cohesive capsule concepts, front and back views, colour stories and call-outs that capture the brand’s DNA.
• Fabric selection – recommend commercially available knits/wovens, weights and finishes that balance comfort, durability and cost.
• Pattern making – production-ready digital patterns (graded where necessary) that my sample room can cut and sew without revisions.
If you can also do complete tech packs then that’s a bonus for long term work
Please include a detailed project proposal outlining your creative approach, estimated timeline, number of revisions and any tech packs or CAD work you typically supply. Highlight past successes in casual wear if you have them; the more relevant examples I see, the faster we can move into sampling.
I work collaboratively, share feedback quickly and value clear communication—Adobe Illustrator, CLO3D, Optitex or similar tools are welcome if they streamline the process. Once the first capsule is approved, there’s potential for ongoing seasonal work, so treat this as the start of a longer partnership.
