Casual Wear Garment Tech
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
Garment Technician – Tech Packs & Fit Support (Australia-based preferred)
I’m seeking an experienced garment technician to support my second collection. I have the vision, designs, and sketches ready, and I’m looking for hands-on help translating these into professional technical packs for my manufacturer, as well as support with fitting once samples arrive.
Ideally, I’d love to work with someone based in Australia so we can do fittings in person, but I’m open to travelling if you’re located interstate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical packs for 4 styles
- Advise on construction, measurements, grading & fit
- Attend (or support) fitting sessions when samples arrive
- Provide feedback and QC notes for revisions to send back to manufacturer
- Flag any production or fit issues before bulk
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in garment technology / product development
- Experience working with manufacturers and production samples
- Knowledge of pattern making, fit, and construction
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Experience in womenswear or elevated casualwear a bonus
To Apply:
Please share your portfolio, relevant experience, and your location in Australia (or availability to travel).
