Bikini Patterns & Sample Making
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have five photographed bikini designs ready to move from images into production-ready assets. I need an experienced swimwear pattern maker who can:
• Draft and grade digital patterns for UK sizes XS, S, M and L.
• Sew one fit sample for each style in a solid-colour, high-stretch swim fabric (final fabric to be confirmed, most likely polyamide/nylon with elastane).
• Integrate adjustable straps and underwire (on selected designs) support exactly as shown in the photos. Padding is not required at this stage.
Please use industry-standard tools such as Gerber, Optitex, Clo3D or similar so the files can be handed straight to my manufacturer. Along with the finished patterns and five physical samples, I’ll need clear spec sheets and any construction notes that will help the factory replicate the pieces.
If you have a strong portfolio of swimwear work, can advise on minor fit tweaks during the process, and can provide an estimated timeline, I’d love to hear how you would approach this project.
