Vintage Felt Dress (Hand Sewing) Patterns Illustration/photos.
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have a reference photo of a small, hand-sewn felt dress that I’ll share with you. Using that as the baseline, I’d like ten new, vintage-inspired designs. Each dress remains purposely simple: a flat felt front, a matching back, and either a collar or other small embellishment—nothing more complex than that.
Here’s what I need from you for every design:
• A clean, high-resolution illustration that shows the finished look in bold colours and embellishments so I can visualise the palette.
• A full-size printable sewing pattern (PDF) that clearly marks seam allowances and stitch points for easy hand sewing.
• A quick reference photo or mock-up demonstrating how the pieces align once cut from felt.
Keep the overall silhouette true to vintage charm—think classic lines rather than modern tweaks—but still playful enough to pop in strong colours. If you have ideas for subtle lace trims, tiny ruffles, or floral appliqués that fit within a single front/back panel, feel free to include them as optional call-outs on the illustration.
I’ll review each set for accuracy against the reference sample: pattern pieces must match up cleanly, illustrations must reflect the bold colour palette, and the collar or embellishment needs to be clearly shown. Deliver the first two designs for feedback, then proceed with the remaining eight once I sign off.
If this scope is clear and you’re comfortable producing both the artwork and the pattern files, let’s get started—I’m eager to see your vintage twists on these little felt dresses!
