Motocross Pants Digital Pattern
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m designing a new line of motocross pants and need a production-ready digital pattern that sits at a moderate level of complexity. The layout must incorporate purposeful mesh ventilation panels without compromising the garment’s strength or rider mobility.
Fabric choice is still open—polyester, nylon, spandex blends, or any combination that achieves durability, stretch, and breathability—so the pattern must accommodate slight variations in thickness and drape.
Deliverables
• Complete digital sewing pattern (DXF, PDF, and native file from your software of choice like Optitex, Gerber, or CLO3D)
• Size grading chart and nested files across the motocross size range I will supply
• Annotation layer calling out seam allowances, mesh panel placement, reinforcement points, and grainlines
• Simple assembly instructions so my factory team can run a first sample without guesswork
- 3d or psd pattern for mockups
Acceptance criteria: pattern aligns correctly when printed at 100 %, mesh panels match vents in my reference sketch, and test sample passes a basic range-of-motion check.
Please factor in one revision round after the first test fit; I’ll provide detailed feedback and photos.
