Patent Search & Application for Bracket
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I have engineered a steel, bolt-on platform-support bracket that locks onto either a square or round 5.5-inch pole or beam, and a fully functioning prototype is already in hand. My next step is to secure strong intellectual-property protection, and I need a registered patent attorney who can guide me end-to-end—from a thorough prior-art search through to drafting and filing a U.S. utility patent application.
Scope of work
• Conduct a comprehensive U.S. and international prior-art search (USPTO, WIPO, Google Patents, etc.) and deliver a clear report outlining relevant references and patentability observations.
• Advise on claim strategy, potential design-versus-utility routes, and whether a provisional filing offers any tactical benefit.
• Prepare the full utility application: detailed specification, numbered claims, abstract, and USPTO-compliant drawings (I can supply CAD files, photos, and measurements).
• File the application electronically via EFS-Web/Patent Center and provide the official filing receipt, application number, and confirmation of all fees paid.
• Remain available for minor revisions or clarifications during the first Office Action cycle.
