I need to write the reason I should not be held in contempt. The QDRO has been held up by the defense, they would not sign anything for 6 years along with my funds in a Money Purchase Benefit Plan were frozen. But 18 month rule came into it after I found it. So I pressed the issue and the funds were released in Dec 2020. I was scared to move the money after all of it was given to me as if no QDRO existed. But then in Nov. 2021 I get another letter stating the same thing but that they approved a QDRO that was sent in to them back in June 2021. So they needed the Judge's signature, but if I asked for a distribution of the funds I was and would be able to take it all. So I did. Then he filed a contempt change and wanted me put in jail for not complying with the divorce decree. The other thing is the QDRO sent to me showed the mediator we had in mediation name was the person the money was going to as he was the one who prepared the QDRO for her. I think that he was a friend of hers. During the mediation she wasn't even in the same room as me.
