Small Claims Paralegal Support
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I am seeking legal counsel regarding a claim for Wage Theft and Bad Faith Employer Conduct against Ground To Air Freight Ltd.
While the duration of the employment was five weeks, this is not a standard wrongful dismissal/severance claim. This case involves:
Bad Faith Denial of Employment: The employer has issued a formal written statement claiming I "never worked for them" to avoid paying five weeks of earned wages. I possess Samsara ELD logs, police reports, and distance logs that factually prove this is a provable lie.
Professional Record Taint (CVOR Damage): As a new driver, my professional reputation relies on a clean CVOR. The employer coerced me into regulatory violations and "Out-of-Service" orders, resulting in tickets that now taint my personal record and permanently affect my future employability with reputable carriers.
Driver Coercion & Safety Violations: I have audio recordings of the owner directing me to bypass mandatory MTO inspections and violate Ministry of Transportation safety orders.
Illegal Deductions & Extortion: Recorded evidence of the employer attempting to force me to pay for vehicle repairs following a non-fault accident, in direct violation of the Employment Standards Act.
I have prepared a comprehensive Case Strategy document (attached) and have 13 organized exhibits ready for review, including GPS logs and audio files.
Because the employer has engaged in high-handed misconduct and attempted to sabotage my career trajectory, I am looking to pursue Aggravated and Punitive Damages in addition to my unpaid labor.
