Greetings. I have a snow globe collection that depicts all the cities I’ve lived in (see attached pic). One of the places I’ve lived is Koh Chang, an island in Thailand, that does not sell snow globes. “Chang” means “elephant”, so I bought an elephant snow globe. I am looking for an artist who can transform this snow globe into something more personal…
I am wondering if you could chip away at the elephants on the base and, with some sort of paste, smooth over the base and create custom elements to affix? I would like to add:
Silhouette of a school (I was a volunteer teacher for a year or so)
Silhouette of my friend’s restaurant
Beach
Jungle (with at least one monkey)
Paint the name “Koh Chang”
I can send design references for each of the above. I would like them to be created in similar style to the attachments on the other snow globes. Attached is a picture of my London snow globe, so that you can see what I’m talking about.
I would like a total of three snow globes to be customized (I have bought them already). The other two will have some of the same design elements as the one I references above, but with some differences: they will be gifts for the director of the children’s care center I worked at, and the owner of the restaurant I mentioned.
Please let me know if this is something that interests you and, if you can at this early stage, give an estimate of the cost of customizing the 3 globes. I am available for a Zoom call to discuss. Once a deal is agreed, I would mail you the 3 snow globes.
