Repaint Small Smoke-Damaged Ceiling

A light smoke incident left a small patch of my ceiling discoloured. The rest of the room is untouched, so I simply need that area brought back to its original look.
The ceiling is already coated with a matte finish, and I’d like the new paint to match the existing colour perfectly. Please factor in any prep work you think is necessary—cleaning, spot-priming with a stain blocker, feathering the edges—so the repair blends seamlessly and the stain never resurfaces.
Deliverables
• Prep and prime the affected spot as required
• Apply matching matte paint (one or two coats, your call for full coverage)
• Leave the area clean with no visible transition lines
