Oil Wedding Portrait Gift Painting

I would like to commission a hand-painted oil portrait based on one of the wedding photographs that will be taken at the end of June. The finished piece will become the couple’s keepsake, but I need an accurate quote right away so I can present the commission itself as the gift during the reception.

Here’s the flow I have in mind: once I receive your estimate and we agree on size, framing and shipping details, I’ll reserve your time. Immediately after the ceremony I’ll send you the selected high-resolution photo (or multiple options if you’d like to advise on the strongest composition). From there you can work on the canvas at your normal pace, provided the final, safely packaged painting reaches me within a mutually agreed delivery window.

Please include examples of past oil portrait work—finished canvases, close-ups that show brushwork, or any in-progress shots that demonstrate your process. A brief note on typical turnaround times and how you handle client feedback on likeness and color accuracy would also be helpful.
