Class 12 Folk Art Portfolio
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
Five to six half-imperial sheets (approx. 22 × 15 in) are required for my CBSE Class 12 Commercial Art submission. All work must be hand-painted in poster colours, cleanly finished, and mounted ready for assessment.
Priority theme
• Folk Art with a clear Mughal influence.
I would like at least one sheet to explore Warli-style nature scenes as well. The remaining boards may interpret cartoons, figure studies, illustration or expressive typography only if they complement the primary folk direction and stay within CBSE guidelines.
Deliverables
• 5–6 original artworks on 300 GSM half-imperial sheets
• Sole use of poster colours; no mixed media
• Consistent margins, neat labeling and brief concept notes (as per CBSE portfolio format)
• Digital photographs of each board in daylight for review before shipping the originals
Acceptance criteria
- Colours remain flat and opaque with no blotching
- Mughal motifs (arches, floral arabesques, courtly figures) clearly visible on at least three sheets
- One Warli-inspired nature composition featuring animal or forest elements
- Overall presentation tidy enough for direct submission
Shipping of the physical boards will be required once the digital proofs are approved, so factor in safe packaging. Prompt updates and a short progress snapshot after each sheet will keep the schedule on track.
