Bedroom Impressionist Landscape Painting
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I want an original, impressionistic landscape rendered in acrylic on canvas to hang in my bedroom. The finished piece should convey the loose, evocative brushwork of classic impressionism rather than detailed realism, and it needs to complement a quiet, restful space. It would optimally look out a window (window frame shown in painting) at a wide river landscape (house is on the James River in Virginia).
It should be 40 to 53 inches tall and 50 to 65 inches wide. If 40 x 60 standard is easier, that’s fine. The wall behind it is a dark blue.
If you take on the commission, here is the flow I have in mind:
• Share a quick sketch or digital mock-up so we can agree on composition, palette, and possible framing (plain light wood minimalist).
• Provide a few progress photos as you build up layers so I can offer light feedback without interrupting your creative rhythm.
• Once the painting is complete, package it securely for shipping (or hand-deliver if you are nearby).
