Wrinkle-Reducing Face Cream Formulation
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m creating a premium anti-aging face cream whose single, measurable promise is to soften the look of fine lines and deeper wrinkles. What I need is a lab-ready formulation that balances proven actives with a pleasant skin feel, remains stable over time, and can be scaled from bench to small-batch production without surprises.
Scope
• Develop a complete formula in weight percentages, ideally featuring well-studied wrinkle-fighting actives such as retinol, peptides, or bakuchiol backed by supporting humectants and emollients.
• Provide a detailed method of manufacture (phase temperatures, mixing speeds, pH targets, viscosity checks).
• Recommend preservative system and packaging compatible with the formula’s pH and actives.
• Include basic stability-test protocol and any safety or regulatory notes needed for EU and U.S. cosmetic compliance.
Acceptance criteria
• Texture: light cream that absorbs quickly, no heavy residue.
• pH: 5.0-6.0 for skin compatibility unless ingredient choice dictates otherwise.
• Shelf-life goal: minimum 24 months under normal storage.
• Documentation: full INCI list, % w/w, and manufacturing SOP delivered in an editable file (Word or Google Doc).
If you have existing lab access for pilot batches or can suggest contract manufacturers who can reproduce your formula exactly, let me know in your proposal.
