Retail Box Design for Specialty Coffee Drip Bags
Project Description:
We’re StarTrail Coffee Co., an Australian brand making drip bag coffee for adventurers — campers, hikers, fishers, and explorers who love great coffee outdoors.
We're looking for a skilled packaging designer to create five custom retail box designs, one for each of our blends:
Outblack Roast
Basecamp Blend
Milky Way (latte style)
Cruisy (decaf)
Sampler Trail (variety pack)
Each box will contain 7 individually wrapped drip bags and be sold in retail stores like BCF. We want bold shelf presence with a clean, outdoorsy vibe.
Box Specs:
Size: 120mm (H) x 120mm (W) x 80mm (D)
Format: vertical (tea-box style), top opening
Material: matte cardboard (print-ready design required)
What We Need:
5 custom box designs — one per blend
We will provide current design
Front, back, and side panels fully designed
Blend-specific artwork (you can build off our current bag designs — provided)
Space for:
Short brand story
QR code (we’ll provide link)
Social media
Icons (organic, roasted in Aus, etc.)
Final print-ready dielines + editable design files
What We’ll Provide:
Brand logo (AI, PNG)
Drip bag artwork references (for style matching)
Brand colors & fonts
Written copy for the back and side panels
QR code
Inspiration & layout ideas
Style Notes:
Clean, natural, outdoors-inspired
Practical, with a touch of storytelling
Visually consistent across the range but unique for each blend
Should appeal to outdoor lovers shopping in lifestyle & camping stores
Deliverables:
5 box designs (AI or layered PSD + print-ready PDFs)
One dieline applied to all boxes (we’ll use same size/structure)
Optional: simple mockups for retail preview
Timeline: Start ASAP — we’re ready to go and need this completed within 1–2 weeks.
