TITLE: Expert Packaging Designer - 7x5.5" Pouch Master Template & Final Production Files
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Distinction Skincare (www.distinction-skincare.com) is hiring a professional packaging designer to create a "Master Template" for our new foil-packed skincare pads. This is a technical design project, not just a concept exercise. We have an immediate need for one SKU (Botanical Pore Clarifying Pads) with several variations to follow.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Master Template Design: Create a sophisticated front-and-back layout that maintains brand continuity while allowing for easy color/title swaps for future SKUs.
Back-of-Pack Engineering: Design a professional layout for ingredients, directions, barcodes, and regulatory icons (PAO, Cruelty-Free, etc.).
Final Production: Provide print-ready, high-resolution vector files (AI or EPS) with 0.125" bleeds and outlined fonts, ready for our manufacturer’s specs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven Experience: You must show a portfolio of physical, printed skincare or cosmetic packaging. No web-only designers.
Technical Knowledge: Must understand how to set up files for foil-pouch printing.
Legal: This is a Work Made for Hire. You will be required to sign our company's IP Assignment and Waiver of Moral Rights (Droit Moral).
Human-Led Design: AI may be used as a creative tool, but the final typography, layout, and technical execution must be human-led.
MILESTONE PAYMENT STRUCTURE:
Milestone 1 (40%): Initial Front/Back concepts and brand-alignment check.
Milestone 2 (60%): Final technical file delivery, signed IP release, and application of final proprietary text/barcodes.
