Premium Packaging Design for Tea Brand
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
We are Tea Rock, an Italian startup reinventing tea with artisanal cubes: a premium, sustainable alternative to tea bags and loose-leaf.
We’re looking for a creative Packaging Designer with proven experience in consumer product packaging to craft a full packaging line that will make our brand stand out across hotels, SPAs, retail shops, and online.
We already have a doypack design for our DTC channel, but as we expand into retail, hotels, and SPAs, we want to evolve our packaging towards a more premium and tea-like identity. The goal is to elevate our aesthetic from a young, DTC look to something more luxury and sophisticated, while keeping our existing company logo as the core brand element.
Scope of Work (for 6 flavors: 2 black teas, 2 green teas, 2 herbal teas):
- Monodose sachets (single-serve) (for 6 flavours, to insert in the boxes)
- Paper boxes for sample packs (1 box, for online)
- Premium wooden box (for hotels and SPAs) (1 box)
- Retail displays (for retail)
- Labels and stickers (for the boxes)
- Tin cans (for online) (for 6 flavours) (for retail and online)
What we are looking for:
- Strong portfolio of previous packaging design (preferably food, beverage, or premium consumer goods)
- Experience balancing practicality, branding, and shelf appeal
- Ability to provide print-ready files and collaborate on technical specifications with suppliers
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and premium aesthetics
- Pricing that is a good fit for a startup: we would like a clear breakdown of costs per packaging line, as this will guide our decisions
- Openness to long-term collaboration (as we may expand the product range in the future)
- Flexibility to adapt designs to multiple languages for future international launches
Nice to have:
- Experience working with sustainable materials
- Knowledge of European food & beverage labeling requirements
If you have experience designing packaging that stands out on shelves and communicates brand values, we’d love to see your work. Please include:
- Your portfolio (highlighting relevant packaging projects)
- A short description of your design approach, and previous experiences
- Your availability and estimated timeline
- Budget per line of products
Deliverables:
- Complete packaging design line adapted to our brand identity
- Editable source files + print-ready formats
- Mockups for presentation and approval
