Nail Product Design & Packaging

Job ID: 40031350

Budget: $30 – $250 CAD

I’m building a cohesive, salon-quality nail line and need an experienced product designer to translate my vision into production-ready designs. The first collection will include: gel polish bottles, gel builder jars, acrylic powder jars, glue tips, and a Gel X jar.

Material direction
I want the primary components worked out in plastic and porcelain; however, I’m still open to exploring gel, acrylic, or other polymers if they deliver a better user experience or cost advantage.

What I need from you
• Concept sketches that capture a modern, premium aesthetic
• 3D models (SolidWorks, Rhino, or comparable) with precise dimensions and closures engineered for leak-proof performance
• Renderings that showcase colorways, label placement, and how the range looks together on shelf
• Manufacturing-ready files: STEP/IGES for tooling plus exploded views and material call-outs
• A concise spec sheet for each SKU detailing volume, material, finish, and recommended decoration method (silk-screen, hot foil, etc.)

Acceptance criteria
Each design must:
– Hold the stated fill volume without excess headspace
– Pass standard drop tests and solvent compatibility for nail formulas
– Feature ergonomic grips for technicians wearing gloves
– Align visually across the entire line so every piece feels like part of one family

Timeline and collaboration
Once we lock the overall style, I’d like to iterate quickly—weekly check-ins via Zoom and shared boards (Figma or Miro) work well for me. If you have prior work in beauty or small plastics, please share it so I can see how you balance aesthetics with manufacturability.

Let’s create a standout nail range that delights both pros and at-home users.
