Luxury Packaging Designer Needed – Prepare Card Deck Box Artwork for Print (Using Manufacturer Dieline)

Project Description

I am looking for an experienced packaging designer / print production artist to finalize artwork for a premium affirmation card deck box.

I already have the core design completed, including the typography, illustrations, and general layout direction. What I need is a professional who can map the design onto the manufacturer’s dieline template, refine the layout, and prepare high-quality print-ready production files.

This is primarily a refinement and production setup project, however if you see opportunities to improve the layout or elevate the design while keeping the same direction, I would welcome those improvements.

The goal is for the final packaging to look polished, balanced, and premium.

Responsibilities

• Map the existing artwork onto the manufacturer’s box dieline template
• Refine spacing, alignment, hierarchy, and placement of design elements
• Improve the design where appropriate to enhance the premium feel of the packaging
• Ensure fold lines, bleed areas, and safe zones are correctly respected
• Optimise typography and layout for a clean, luxury presentation
• Prepare print-ready production files according to manufacturer specifications

Deliverables

• Print-ready PDF formatted according to the manufacturer’s requirements
• Editable source files (Adobe Illustrator preferred)
• High-resolution files suitable for professional printing
• Properly structured file including bleed, margins, and dieline placement
• Organised layers so the files remain easy to edit

Editable File Requirement

I would like the final files delivered in a format that allows me to edit text in the future if needed.

Please ensure:

• Text layers remain fully editable
• Fonts are included or font names are provided
• Files are well organised with clearly labelled layers
• The dieline is placed on a separate locked layer for reference

This will allow me to make small text changes later if needed without redesigning the entire file.

• Manufacturer box dieline template
• Existing design artwork
• Fonts and logo files
• Reference images of the intended look and aesthetic

Print Specifications

Final files should be prepared for professional print production:

• CMYK colour profile
• Minimum 300 DPI resolution where applicable
• Proper bleed and safe margins according to the template
• Fonts outlined or supplied
• Clean layer structure suitable for print

Revisions

Please include minor revisions.

Timeline

This project needs to be completed within the next 7 days.
