Our food-gifting range needs a fresh set of primary packaging concepts that instantly signal celebration—especially during the festive and wedding seasons—while still feeling unmistakably rooted in our culture. I’m committed to keeping the entire range paper-based, so every idea must translate cleanly onto rigid boxes, folding cartons, sleeves or similar substrates that can be mass-produced with food-safe inks.
Visually, I’m after a traditional and cultural look brought to life through a bright, vibrant palette—think rich marigold yellows, auspicious reds and lively teal accents rather than muted or pastel tones. Indigenous patterns, subtle festive iconography, and refined typography that balances readability with ornamentation will hit the mark.
Here’s what I need in handover:
• 2–3 distinct design directions presented as high-resolution mock-ups on the intended pack structures
• Final print-ready dielines in AI & PDF, with clearly marked CMYK values, varnish or foil layers if used, and a 3 mm bleed
• A concise style guide covering colour codes and primary fonts so the look can scale across future SKUs
