Energy Ball Recipe & Shelf-life

Job ID: 39831462

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m gearing up to launch a small-batch range of date-and-peanut energy balls and need a food technologist’s insight to lock down the fundamentals before I scale.

First, I want the recipe standardized so every batch hits the same texture, bite, and nutritional targets without sacrificing the clean-label promise—no refined sugar, no synthetic preservatives. Once the formulation is set, we can move on to extending shelf life naturally. I’m especially keen to test Modified Atmosphere Packaging and other non-additive tactics that keep moisture migration and rancidity in check.

Packaging comes next: the concept must stay airtight above all else, while still suiting a modest production run and retail display. If you can advise on film structures, pouch formats, or simple heat-seal solutions that pair well with MAP, let’s talk.

Deliverables I’m expecting:
• A finalized, scalable recipe with precise ingredient ratios and critical control points
• Lab-backed or pilot-scale shelf-life results that compare ambient versus MAP conditions
• Practical packaging specs (materials, sealing method, supplier leads) that meet my airtight requirement

You’ll have room to suggest additional natural antioxidants or gentle dehydration tweaks if they help meet our target of a 90-day ambient shelf life—provided they stay in line with the clean-label philosophy. I’m happy to supply existing kitchen data, mini-batch samples, and any extra test runs you require. Let’s collaborate to turn a great snack into a reliable product on store shelves.
