Project Title
Premium PR Box Design | Indian Aesthetic Packaging with Hand Illustrations
Project Description
We are looking for a highly creative packaging designer/illustrator to design a premium PR box for an upcoming consumer brand.
The design should celebrate modern Indian aesthetics—colourful, joyful, handcrafted, and premium—without looking overly traditional or cluttered.
We love the visual language of brands like Phool, where contemporary design meets Indian culture through beautiful illustrations and thoughtful storytelling.
Creative Direction
* Modern Indian aesthetic
* Hand-drawn or hand-painted illustrations (preferred)
* Vibrant yet premium colour palette
* Botanical and nature-inspired elements
* Inspired by Indian craftsmanship, textiles, flowers, pottery, village life, and everyday culture
* Elegant, artistic, and globally appealing
Design References
We admire the visual direction of brands such as:
* Phool
* Nicobar
* Forest Essentials
* Brown Living
* Okhai
* Fabindia (modern packaging)
Please note: We are not looking for generic ethnic patterns, heavy mandalas, or wedding-style artwork. The illustrations should feel original, sophisticated, and contemporary.
Scope of Work
The selected designer will create:
* Outer PR box design
* Inner lid artwork
* Thank-you card
* Product information insert
* Tissue paper pattern
* Stickers and small packaging elements
* Mockups for presentation
Deliverables
* Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
* Editable source files
* Print-ready PDF
* High-resolution assets
* Mockups
What We’re Looking For
* Strong illustration skills
* Experience in premium packaging design
* Understanding of luxury branding
* Ability to create custom artwork instead of using stock illustrations
* Attention to detail and print production requirements
While Applying
Please share:
1. Your best packaging design projects.
2. Any illustration work you’ve created.
3. Similar projects inspired by Indian aesthetics (if any).
4. Your estimated timeline.
5. Your quote.
We are looking for a long-term design partner, so exceptional work on this project can lead to future collaborations.
