Cardboard Toy Packaging Design
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m producing a small run of sensor-controlled helicopter toys and need a custom cardboard package that does more than just hold the product—it has to excite kids (and their parents) the moment they see it on a shelf.
Here’s the brief in a nutshell:
• Structure & protection
The box must safely cradle the helicopter, its rotor blades, USB cable and brief instructions. A front window or die-cut is welcome if it shows off the helicopter without compromising strength. Everything should survive typical drop-tests for retail toys.
• Material
Sturdy cardboard only—no plastic inserts unless you can justify a minimal clear blister to stop parts rattling. I’m open to eco-friendly board grades if they perform as well.
• Graphics
Full-color printing on every visible panel. I’ll supply the logo, product photos and copy; you’ll bring layout flair, color management and print-ready pre-press know-how. Bright, tech-inspired visuals that underline the “sensor” aspect are a plus.
Deliverables
1. Dieline (AI or PDF) with cut, fold and glue marks ready for the printer
2. 3D mock-up render (static PNG or layered PSD) to show shape and artwork in context
3. Print-ready artwork files (CMYK, 300 dpi, with bleed)
Acceptance criteria
• Dieline fits the actual toy dimensions I’ll send after hire (±1 mm tolerance)
• All text sits inside safe zones; bleed and color profile correctly set
• Files pass a standard pre-flight check (Adobe Acrobat) without errors
If you’ve engineered packages for RC cars, drones, action figures or similar items before, your experience will be invaluable. Share a couple of past dielines or mock-ups with your bid so I can see your structural approach and graphic style.
