Our new trading card game needs to stand out visually from day one, so I’m commissioning two connected pieces of work:
Card illustrations
I need a suite of illustrations that lean on bold, punchy colour palettes while keeping the rendering realistic—think dramatic lighting, crisp anatomy and textures that feel almost tactile. The artwork has to translate smoothly to both print and online reveals, so layered files in PSD or AI (300 dpi, CMYK, with bleed) are essential.
Packaging design
The booster packs and deck boxes should mirror the energy of the cards while adding shelf appeal through holographic effects and custom die-cut shapes. I’ll supply dieline specs once we begin; you’ll return print-ready PDFs plus the editable source files that show separate foil layers and cut lines.
Deliverables
• Initial mood board that locks down palette, realism level and overall brand vibe
• 10 finished card illustrations, supplied as layered PSD/AI and flattened TIFF/PNG previews
• Booster pack and deck box designs incorporating holographic layers and custom shapes, delivered as press-ready PDFs and original files
• Two revision rounds on each asset set to make sure everything feels cohesive
If you already work comfortably in Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate or similar and have experience preparing print-ready files with specialty finishes, this will be a smooth collaboration.
