Seeking a Senior Database Developer with expertise in Relational Databases, specifically MySQL, for an Application Development project.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficient in designing and implementing Relational Databases using MySQL
- Strong understanding of SQL queries and data modeling
- Experience in developing databases for Application Development purposes
- Familiarity with optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity
- Knowledge of best practices for database security and backup strategies
- Ability to collaborate with the development team to integrate the database with the application efficiently

You will be required to do the following:
1. Review existing legacy dB design
2. Design and develop new dB in AWS
3 Set up new dB environment on AWS
4. dB Architecture and Development
5. Migrate existing dB of 300,000 records/125gb to new dB hosted on AWS
6. Records to migrate are photo's, pdf documents, other images, text
7. Provide ongoing support (depending on relationship and review of performance)
