As part of our services for customers, we have Oracle databases that we manage which have ongoing and regular need for amendments and fixes; the databases run OLTP for business applications and a data warehouse, with substantial amounts of data to be loaded and processed before the business teams can run reports through Microstrategy.
There is typically something to do with the databases each week and the tasks vary - from managing data, correcting problems with loading, unloading and reloading data, creating custom queries to breakdown and analyse the data for users.
This would suit someone who is able to step in as needed, but does not require being "on call" because that is handled already within our business - however, there is an overflow of work and we would like to be able to outsource this on a regular, and ongoing, basis
