Hi we need consultant for Oracle and Mysql below is the requirements.
Oracle Database:
Server Monitoring: Examine Database environment to detect issues and make necessary recommendations
to improve overall performance
Periodic Housekeeping of Database logs and trace files
Uptime Management: Primary responsibility to achieve 99.90% uptime of Database server and reduce unplanned downtime.
The same will be done by:
1. Daily monitoring and alerts.
2. Ensure backup strategy in place. The information on the same should be readily available.
3. Plan for recovery in case of failure and ensure minimum downtime
Space Management: No Application Outages due to space crunch.
Performance Management: Monitor performance variables of the system, including DISK I/O, CPU utilization.
As well as database SGA related hit ratios.
Rollback segment/Undo segment contention, unbalanced index growth.
Resource Management: Monitoring system utilization against database and parameters.
(E.g.) user limit, process limits etc. Ensure no database/Application Outages.
Backup & Recovery management: Backup and recovery Policy
1. Designing backup and recovery policy for the site.
2. Ensuring the back-up is done as defined in the Backup policy
3. Contingency test for backup
Reports: Detailed activity report for every planned activity
Monthly Service Report / Equivalent
MySQL Database:
