Troubleshoot Indoor Red Line Lasers undesired leakage (?) of lasers beams on sides.
Budget: $10 ā $30 USD
I'm seeking assistance with a red visible line laser that is not projecting a clean line. This laser is primarily used for presentations and displays.
Issues:
- The laser is showing additional artifacts outside of the intended straight, clean lines.
I need a professional who can help diagnose and fix the problem so that I can have a clear, uninterrupted line for my displays. Ideal candidates for this project should have prior experience with troubleshooting similar lasers, and possess a strong understanding of laser technology and its applications in presentation settings.
Iām passing the line lasers beam through a .15mm slit in a printed covers that is aligned with the line lasers optical lens line.
Green arrows in picture show the beams that I want to have removed. Also holding the lens external slit that is .15mm wide.
These undesired artifacts are also present even when slit is not installed. Slit is an attempt to reduce the beams line width.
I 3D print the slit part myself in an attempt to clean up the line lasers beam.
The slit is currently 3mm in depth in an attempt to prevent any stray laser beam from making these side beam. If there is a better idea for the slit design that would help solve this then I can design the idea and test.
