Optics Engineer for Consumer Electro-Optical Device
Budget: $20,000 – $50,000 USD
We are offering a short-term contract for a qualified Optics Engineer to assist us in the development of a new consumer-grade electro-optical device. The qualified candidate will have an advanced engineering background and at least 5 years of experience working with:
Visible and IR spectrum lasers; Class 3R & 3B
Advanced analog light transmission mechanics & materials
Advanced optical lens assemblies
A/D/A methodology in photo-optics
SolidWorks or Similar
Candidate must be up to date on the most advanced materials and methodologies in optics devices. Some experience with GaAs Photocathodes and GEN2+ Intensifier tubes is a plus.
This will be a results-based, indefinite delivery contract with NDA, and the best candidate can expect compensation between $35,000 - $60,000 with a 20% advance upon signing.
Candidate must present current CV, verifiable references and proof of any current certifications. The work will be 100% remote; however, the candidate must reside within the United States and hold US Citizenship due to federal restrictions on materials and assemblies.
