OptiFDTD Photonic Crystal Geometry Setup
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need someone with direct OptiFDTD (Optiwave) experience to rebuild a photonic-crystal biosensor geometry from a published paper.
Scope of this initial milestone (partial test):
– Recreate lattice geometry (hole radius, period, defect region)
– Assign refractive index values to substrate, waveguide and analyte regions
– Apply PML boundaries and monitors using a provided template
– No simulation runs, no CSV export
Deliverable:
– A clean OptiFDTD project file (.fdt) that opens without errors
This is a test milestone before awarding the full project.
To qualify, reply with:
Version of OptiFDTD you have used
Screenshot of ANY previous OptiFDTD geometry or monitor layout (mandatory)
Estimated time to complete partial geometry setup
Do NOT apply if you only have:
– COMSOL
– CST
– Meep
– MATLAB FDTD
– General “optical design” without OptiFDTD
I only want people who have actually used the Optiwave interface and understand FDTD geometry configuration.
