New Hunting Rifle Scope Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m developing a fresh hunting rifle scope.
attached are specs/sow and major comonents specs.
What I’m looking for you to do
1. Optical architecture
– Create a complete lens prescription in Zemax (or equivalent) that hits hunting-oriented priorities such as balanced field of view, solid low-light transmission and manageable weight.
2. Mechanical package
– Model the tube, turrets, and internal focusing/zoom assemblies in SolidWorks (step files preferred) with tolerances suitable for CNC or extrusion.
– Integrate nitrogen purging and basic waterproofing considerations.
3. Documentation
– Provide manufacturing drawings, exploded views, and a short assembly guide so a contract manufacturer can quote it with minimal back-and-forth.
4. Iteration support
– Be available for one round of revisions after initial review; small tweaks to lens spacing, thread specs, or material gauges may be required.
