Mobile Full-Field Sports Lens

I head product development at ATHLON Technology in Cairo, where our team builds all-in-one recording and analytics systems for sports venues. The next step in our roadmap is a custom add-on lens that lets a single smartphone camera cover an entire playing area in one shot—similar to a fisheye, yet without the typical trade-offs.
What matters most to me is:
• a very wide field of view that truly sees the whole court or pitch
• high resolution across the frame so our tracking algorithms have clean data
• minimal distortion, especially around the edges, to avoid warping tactical lines
There are no strict limits on weight or overall size, as long as the unit remains practical for coaches and videographers to handle on the sideline.
I would like you to take the concept from optical design right through to a manufacturable prototype—Zemax or equivalent simulations, lens formula, mechanical housing concepts, and any recommendations on coatings, glass vs. plastic, or supplier capabilities. If you have rapid-prototyping contacts or can guide small-batch production, even better.
Let me know your relevant experience with wide-angle or specialty optics and the toolchain you prefer. I’m ready to start as soon as we align on an approach and milestones.
