Printed Text to Word Conversion
Budget: $100 – $1,500 USD
I have a set of English-language pages that exist only as printed hard-copy. They are plain text—no images, tables, or diagrams—so the task is a straightforward conversion to an editable Microsoft Word (.docx) file.
Accuracy matters more than speed: spelling, punctuation and any original formatting such as headings or paragraph breaks must be faithfully reproduced. You may use OCR to speed things up, but I expect every page to be proof-read and error-free before you hand it over.
Deliverables
• A clean, fully editable Word document (or separate files if you prefer one per section) that matches the source text line-for-line.
• A brief note describing the method you used (manual typing, OCR + proofreading, etc.) so I can replicate it for future batches.
If this first batch runs smoothly, I’ll have additional documents ready to follow, so consider this the start of an ongoing partnership.
