PDF Reports Transcribed into Excel

Job ID: 39834600

Budget: €12 – €18 EUR

I have a batch of reports in PDF format that combine text narratives, tables, and embedded images. I need each file converted into a fully editable Excel workbook where every element—headers, body text, table structure, and any image-based data—is reproduced faithfully. The tables must line up in the sheet exactly as they appear in the original documents, column widths and merged cells included, so downstream formulas and pivots work without re-formatting.
Absolute text accuracy is critical; no typos, missed characters, or shifted rows. If an image contains data, extract it and place the values in the correct cells so the final workbook reads as if the report were authored in Excel from the start.

Deliverables
• One .xlsx file for each source PDF, named identically.
• All sheets checked for 100 % text and numerical fidelity against the source.
• Consistent use of styles so the visual layout mirrors the PDF on first open.

I’m comfortable if you use Adobe Acrobat, Power Query, advanced OCR, or your own Python/ VBA scripts—whichever achieves pixel-perfect replication fastest. Just let me know your approach and estimated turnaround once you’ve sampled a file.
