Google Sheets Attendance Dashboard
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I keep all of my student attendance data in Google Sheets and I’d like that raw log turned into a clean, long-term database that practically runs itself. The job starts with structuring the sheet so new daily entries drop into the right place, data-validation rules prevent typos, and protected ranges keep accidental edits to a minimum.
Once the foundation is solid, I need automated summary reports that break down present, absent, late, and excused counts by class, week, and month. I also track grades in a separate tab; connecting those marks to the attendance sheet will let us surface quick correlations between attendance patterns and academic performance—think conditional-formatting heat maps or a lightweight dashboard that highlights at-risk students.
Google Apps Script, pivot tables, IMPORTRANGE, QUERY, and chart tools are all fair game if they make the workflow smoother; just keep everything inside Google Sheets so it stays cloud-based and shareable. After the initial build I’ll want periodic maintenance: archiving old terms, adding new class lists, and tweaking formulas when requirements change.
