Bulk PDF-to-Excel Entry

Please read the full brief before responding - In applying for this task please fill the details from the first line of the attached pdf document into the attached excel template. All columns are required but only the first line to show you understand the task (should take 1-2 minutes).
I have several hundred PDF files need to be converted into a single, neatly organised Microsoft Excel workbook.
The task: capture certain fields from these pdf documents and double-checking totals to make sure nothing is missed. Feel free to use AI or other tools but please validate results to make sure it is accurate.
I am assuming roughly 20 hours for the task. At the end of this we can determine if more time is required depending on how far through you have progressed.
Deliverables
• One Excel (.xlsx) file with all records entered and validated
• A brief “read-me” sheet summarising any assumptions, questions or anomalies spotted during entry
Familiarity with Excel functions, data validation, and (if you prefer) OCR tools such as Adobe or ABBYY can speed the job, but manual verification must back every automated extraction.
