Shop Accountant & Operations Manager
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need someone who can slip comfortably between the ledger and the shop floor, keeping our books pristine while making sure day-to-day operations never miss a beat.
Accounting first: you’ll post every sales slip and purchase into QuickBooks (or your preferred cloud ledger), reconcile cash and bank daily, and compile clear weekly and month-end reports so I can see profit, loss, and cash flow at a glance.
Operations next: with a small retail team on rotating shifts, you’ll build and circulate the weekly schedule, handle last-minute adjustments, and be the go-to for attendance issues. On the floor you’ll keep an eye on stock levels, trigger re-orders before we run low, negotiate with our regular vendors, and make sure deliveries match purchase orders. If a customer concern pops up, you step in, resolve it, and note the feedback for improvement.
Success here looks like:
• Books that balance every evening and a concise P&L on my desk each month.
• A staff rota posted on time with minimal clashes.
• Accurate, real-time inventory reports and well-documented vendor communications.
• Customers leaving satisfied because any issue was handled promptly.
If you’re organised, proactive, and confident juggling both numbers and people, let’s talk about getting you behind the counter—and behind the accounts—straight away.
