Position Overview

The Director of Operations is the driving force behind the day-to-day execution, optimization, and strategic advancement of our home-buying organization. This leader ensures all departments operate cohesively—Acquisitions, Lead Management, Project Management, and Dispositions—while pushing performance, accountability, innovation, and growth. This role requires a dynamic operator who can project revenue, manage cashflow inputs, raise investor capital, and act as the liaison between ownership and the full team.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Accountability

Review team member KPIs weekly and hold all departments accountable for performance standards.

Lead, coach, and support department heads across Acquisitions, Lead Management, Project Management, and Dispositions.

Host monthly Town Hall meetings, providing transparency, recognition, and company-wide alignment.

Serve as the “middle manager” liaison between the owner and the team—translating vision into executable plans.

Operational Excellence

Oversee all daily operations for the home-buying company, ensuring smooth, efficient, and highly productive workflows.

Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to accelerate project timelines and operational output.

Build, refine, and maintain processes, SOPs, and systems on a consistent basis.

Ensure department capacity matches revenue goals and operational expectations.

Financial Oversight & Capital Management

Project revenue weekly/monthly/quarterly based on pipeline, exit strategies, and departmental KPIs.

Assist with cashflow management, including spend forecasting and capital allocation.

Raise capital from private lenders and investors when needed.

Provide investors with timely, accurate, and professional updates on active projects and company performance.

Marketing & Brand Oversight

Review and manage all inbound and outbound marketing channels regularly.

Ensure leads are flowing effectively across PPC, direct mail, SMS, cold calling, local SEO, and social platforms.

Innovate marketing strategies for brand alignment and conversion optimization.

Maintain and oversee all front-facing brand assets including Google Business, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and additional platforms.

Technology, Software & Systems

Assist in managing Salesforce and other internal software platforms.

Work with vendors, developers, or internal staff to improve automations, integrations, and workflow efficiencies.

Monitor data integrity and ensure systems support KPI tracking across all teams.

Human Resources & Culture

Assist in HR matters including recruitment, training, coaching, culture development, and conflict resolution.

Support new-hire onboarding and ongoing employee development.

Help maintain a healthy, accountable, growth-oriented team environment.

Company Innovation & Strategic Support

Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvements, new initiatives, and organizational efficiencies.

Ensure project timelines and renovations move swiftly and predictably.

Support the Owner in high-level planning, market expansion initiatives, and long-term vision alignment.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in operations leadership, preferably in real estate, construction, or a high-velocity sales/operations environment.

Strong financial acumen including KPI analytics, revenue forecasting, and cashflow management.

Experience raising capital or working directly with private investors is a major plus.

Advanced organizational and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive accountability.

Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and comfort managing software integrations.

Exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving ability.
