OpenVMS-Windows DecNet Data Bridge

Job ID: 40231823

Budget: ₹40,000 – ₹100,000 INR

I need to move real-time data back and forth between an existing OpenVMS node and a current Windows machine, and I want to keep the link native by running it over DECnet rather than tunnelling everything through TCP/IP work-arounds.

The job is purely about data transfer—no remote console work, no print or disk sharing—so the deliverable is a clean, documented method that lets the Windows side read from and write to the VMS system with minimal latency and full reliability. I am open to Phase IV or Phase V, as long as the end result connects the two operating systems seamlessly on today’s hardware or virtual infrastructure.

What I expect from you
• A working configuration (scripts, command procedures, small utilities—whatever you decide is most efficient) that I can drop into both environments
• Clear, step-by-step documentation so another admin can reproduce the setup from scratch
• A quick test plan that proves real-time transfers in both directions

Highlight your relevant experience with DECnet on VMS and any similar Windows integrations you have delivered. If you have tackled legacy protocol bridges or pulled live data off VAX/Alpha/Integrity boxes before, that will stand out immediately.

Once the solution passes the test plan on my lab network, we will schedule final acceptance on the production nodes.
