New OpenStack Cloud Deployment
Budget: €18 – €36 EUR
I’m ready to stand up a fresh OpenStack environment and I need an engineer who can take it from bare-metal (or clean VMs) all the way to a fully functioning cloud. The main objective is straightforward: deploy OpenStack with Compute (Nova), Networking (Neutron) and Storage (Cinder/Swift) enabled, integrated and tested.
Scope
• Plan the architecture, choose the most suitable Neutron topology (flat, VLAN or VXLAN) and justify the choice in writing.
• Install and configure the core services—Keystone, Glance, Nova, Neutron, Cinder and/or Swift—along with Horizon for day-to-day administration.
• Automate the build wherever practical (Ansible, Kolla-ansible or similar) so the environment can be reproduced quickly.
• Hand over clean documentation that covers node roles, network diagrams, credentials, and the exact commands or playbooks used.
If you have recent hands-on production experience with OpenStack, strong programming skills in Python/Go and you have deep knowledge of Linux system administration and Cloud Infrastructure, let’s get started.
