WebGL & Shader Expert Needed for Urgent 3D Lighting and Shading Task
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Description: I need a talented WebGL and GLSL developer to enhance my 3D web app with custom lighting and shading features. This project requires adding dynamic lighting to achieve realistic scene illumination. This is an urgent project, with a delivery window of 24 to 48 hours, so please apply only if you are highly experienced with WebGL and GLSL.
Key Requirements:
OBJ Loader Enhancement: Modify the existing OBJ loader to load both vertex positions and normals for accurate lighting effects.
Vertex Array Object (VAO) Setup: Create a VAO to manage mixed buffers containing vertex positions and normals.
Custom Shaders: Develop shaders for both Goraud and Phong shading, implementing lighting effects at per-vertex and per-fragment levels. The shaders must handle multiple light types (ambient, directional, and point).
Dynamic Light Updates: Ensure the lighting adjusts in real-time as users move light sources within the scene.
Deliverables:
Fully functional OBJ loader that handles positions and normals.
Optimized shaders for both Goraud and Phong shading.
Real-time light updates responding to user interactions.
Documentation on how to integrate and test the shading functions.
Skills Required:
JavaScript – Core language for this web-based 3D project.
WebGL – Deep knowledge of WebGL for rendering 3D graphics in real-time.
GLSL Programming – Expertise in GLSL for creating high-performance shaders.
3D Rendering & Optimization – Experience with 3D rendering and performance tuning.
HTML5 – Familiarity with HTML5 for web-based application deployment.
